Zander is passionate about hunting, wildlife and nature and will customize your trip to meet your expectations. The one thing a person looks for hunting abroad is someone they can trust. As a business owner this can be difficult at times and extremely hard to find this trait. I had the privilege of hunting with Zander Lourens in September of 2023. This is my third safari and I must say that Zander is a real professional. He is top notch in every aspect. From his professionalism and transparency to his honesty and knowledge of game, you would be hard pressed to find a PH of his caliber. He is a great communicator and makes you feel like family. I would happily hunt anything, any where, at any time with Zander.

When I seen the pictures, I knew it was going second to none. And knowing Zander prior to, I knew it was going to be an amazing experience nonetheless. But to actually experience the amazing hospitality, friendship, culture, get treated like family and be a part of something like this, was truly something I’ll honestly never forget. I can’t wait until I come back again. I would encourage anyone and everyone to see a part of the world that only few get to first hand.

We hunted with Zander Lourens Safaris in June of 2025.  It was my wife and I’s first trip to South Africa.

From the very first meeting to the final goodbye, everything was first class.

Our first stay was at Mabula Pro Safari’s, and I will say we were blown away by the place.  Everything was clean, neat, and welcoming.  Chef Ben put together an amazing meal each time we sit down.  The staff and trackers were all great and always had a smile!

We met our PH – Pierre on the first morning at breakfast.  That kicked off what turned out to be the best two weeks we’ve had.  Pierre made sure that we had a trip of a lifetime, and we will be friends for life.  He put us in great spots to be able to make good shots on some outstanding trophies.  I can’t thank Pierre enough for making our trip so memorable.

After Mabula we travelled to Mankwe Safaris where we spent the next five nights.  Just like Mabula, the food from Chef Eddie was amazing, the staff was top notch.  Pitso our tracker was amazing!

Each night we spent laughing around the campfire, and telling stories from that days hunt.

Zander does a marvellous job at making sure you are comfortable, and will make sure your safari is a memory of a lifetime.

We flew to Kruger for our final couple of nights and Zander and Danielle created what was one of the highlights of the trip.  From the lodging, to the food, everything was perfect!

If you are on the fence about going to South Africa, just do it.  If you are looking for an outfitter, Zander Lauren’s is the man.
